A feud seems to be brewing between the Club Byte This and the CT Solutions Club.  Beats the hell outta be why this is.  Both clubs seem to want to foster some type of change in 3d World.

I do think that some people are trying to take over ownership of 3d World for themselves.  For whatever reason, they feel it essential to foist their proposals and opinions in the public forums. In essence I think they are merely grandstanding.  It's all egotistical people who take 3d World far too damn seriously.  Listen folks, all this sweetness and light stuff don't amount to diddly squat.  3d World is not going to solve the problems of the real world one iota.  All the "let's play nice and have fun" statements ain't goona change the facts of life.  Neither are any of the "it's okay to voice you opinion as long as it's constructive criticism," statements that issue like pabulum from the mouths of people like the ones who inhabit the message boards and who are supposedly in charge.

Get down to the real nitty gritty, people.  Where the hell IS Herhoner?  What the hell IS she doing?  The real problem in 3d World is that the people in power don't have any real power to begin with.  It's all a sham.

People have been reporting lately that a serious shortage of block deputies is causing problems and rasing hell in 3d World.  Huh?  Can somebody explain that to me.  Go to the citizen directory and list the citizens by job.  There are over 5100 people listed as holding a deputy job.  You wanta know what the real solution to the "shortage" is?  Look at the damn list yourself.  Several people hold the position in different blocks, neighborhood, and colonies for Chrissakes.  Why the hell don't they limit them?  It's simple.  One block, one deputy.  If somebody has more than one, tell them to pick one and drop the others.  What the hell to do you need more than one for anyway?  It's not like this job is a life and death thing, is it?

A simple rule to follow in 3d World is to simply cut through the bullshit.  We don't need any long winded beaurocratic sounding written proposals to solve a perceived problem.  All it takes it some stragiht language and then some action.

Take the supposed shortage of deputies.

1.  see how many of the more than 5000 people listed as holding the job are still in attendance in 3d World.  Decide how many deputies you need for any given block.  ONE should be enough.
2. If they haven't logged in for the past 90 days, drop them from the roles
3. If they hold more than one block job, tell them to pick which block.  If it already has a deputy, tell them to pcik a differnet block.
4. Then and only then should you be crying "shortage."
5. If a true shortage exists, hire more deputies.
6. If a deputy isn't doing his or her job, fire his or her ass.

First let me say that I think the posting of the council meeting minutes is a GREAT idea.  It makes it clear to me that Herhoner and those in power have no real desire to do anything with any great haste.  And they want to do it it public even less.  Now before somebody gets their undies in a bunch, let me explain.

These are the minutes recorded in the 3d World's daily news and some observations.  The minutes are in italics.

     Discussion: Public Town Meetings

      A public town meeting was discussed whereby a form at the new City Council website
      could be filled out by citizens. Their ideas for topics could be submitted and an open
      town meeting would take place whereby a committee composed of Council members
      could do a review of the submissions. Possibly an online database or some kind of
      filter would be incorporated to organize and view all of the submissions. Topics would
      be chosen in advance and made public through CVN prior to each meeting. This
      would allow citizens to be invited to speak and have time to prepare. These meetings
      would take place monthly at the City Hall or various locations.

      It was also mentioned that people would need to speak in an orderly fashion. This
      would be accomplished by either using a adaptation of Roberts Rules of Order (* and
      ?) and/or partial to full moderation with an understanding that the behavior of the crowd
      would dictate much of the order required. There was some talk about possibly
      moderating just specific portions of the meeting. It may also be necessary to provide
      security personnel at these meetings to help maintain order.

      There was also a brief discussion on having a CVN Reporter at the public town
      meetings for public coverage of the event. But some where reluctant about this as
      they would be preoccupied by the discussion of a CVN Reporter being present in the
      City Council meetings. Also, the Reporter would need to be bound to the same rules
      of Confidentiality as all attendees or asked to excuse themselves during such
      confidential discussions. Providing the Minutes to the Reporter and letting them base
      their story on those minutes should be adequate for the needs of CVN.

      Conclusions: The topic was concluded by mentioning that open town meetings could
      be a good stepping stone to the possibility of developing an open council meeting
      format in the future. There was concern by a few Council Members that revealing
      Council member’s votes, etc. could create some possible backlash by disgruntled
      citizens, or that a vote would be driven by popularity rather than the best interest of
      the City.

I had to take a small break from the Trek to 10000.  why the hell can't I make up my mind what to call it?  Sometimes it's Trek TO 10000, sometimes it's TOWARD, sometimes it's just a damn Trek, not that it matters.

Still amidst this self-made hoopla, I still catch a chance to read some other goings on in 3d World.  It's interesting to see some of the reaction to the posting of the City Council News.  Most of the comments on the Politics Feedback and the Council mesage board are very positive statements, "Oh isn't it nice to have this."  "Good Job." and other such pabulum that the brown-nosing public has to offer the people who are supposedly their leaders.  Who the heck made them the leaders anyway?  The one thing I noticed in those mintues is the great hesitancy on the part of the council to make their votes known.  All those comments about pissing people off.

The CVN News should be commended for asking to have a reporter present.  They shouldn't just ask.  They should demand it.

the Weekly news had an intersting editiorial by someone I assume is a young teenager.  The gist of the brief piece was this kid holding some amethyst stones, whatever subliminal power they're supposed to give beats the hell outta me, and in a sense talkign disparagingly about the parental unit who basically wanted the kid to get off the damn computer and go out an enjoy life.  The kid's words, in effect, were, "This is my life."  What?!?!?!!!?????  This to me is simply just plain sad.  If all a kid has to look forward to is coming home and sitting at the computer to talk to supposed friends who she doesn't even know personally let alone ever meet in 3d World.  Sheesh!  No matter what you think, kid.  You mom is right.  Get out of that room and live some life.  It's all out there in the world for you.  Whatever calm or power you think you draw from those stones in your hand, the real power and calm comes from inside you, not from some rocks.

Another intersting piece in the Weekly news came from someone who sends me occasional inboxes, BigMac.  He provide a link to a story about how PlanetX is going to come flying by the EArth at sometime during 2003, or something like that.  This is another one of those WAGDS tales.  That means it's a We're All Gonna Die Soon tale.  These tales usually take the form of some type of calamity being predicted on the basis of some type of science.  Like the sun is 1000 degree warmer than last year.  There's too many deer flies not dieing off.  Whatever it is, the end result of these stories is that great disaster is going to befall humanity, sometimes sooner than later.    I usually take such stories with the appropriate grain of salt or slug of beer, whichever seems better at that particular point in time.  When it comes time meet my Maker, I'll be ready either way.  He's the only one who really matters, not some paranoid scientists who keep screaming about the sky falling.

February 21

There's a new Unified Ban policy in effect in 3d World.  It's nice, I supposed.  But it's really stragne to see the comments by people in the feedback board.  It's the usual "oh that's great" "good job" from the usual sycophants.  I don't care if there's a ban policy or not.  Most of the people who are in charge either won't enforce it or will enforce it inequitably.  Yeah, I know that's cynical, but what the heck.  I've seen it happen before.  It will happen again depsite all the claim otherwise.  It's just a matter of time.

Of more interest, I think is the proposal made by the Club Byte This regarding the giving out of titles.  You can read the entire proposal at this site.  I think it's a great idea for somebody to be proposing anything to the vaunted council and Herhoner.  I think the proposal is logical and fairly equitable, still open to some subjectivity on the part of those awarding titles, but certainly better than the extremely vague criteria now in place.  The people responsible for the proposal have every right to be proud of themselves.  Then sent it to the council via email yesterday.  My guess is that it will be some time before anybody hears of it and acknowledges it.  the real intersting hting will be whether they actually do anything with it.

I got the following from the Word of the Day Listserv.  Yes, I belong to listservs which are usually a lot more informative than anything given with the usual pabulum offered on the Internet.  I think it fits some of the leaders in 3d World.  Yeah, I know I'm cynical about the purported "leaders" of 3d World.  So what else is new.  I ain't out to please everybody or anybody but myself most of the time anyway.  If you ask my opinion I will give it freely and openly.  I will soon be going back to the old journals that brought about the threat of legal action by the former head of security. Maybe I'll be revising some of them, but I will post most of them again.

Someone told me about this supposedly secret room in the City Hall of 3d World.  Then I found out that it wasn't all that secret after all.  BUT Unless you know where to look for it, you won't find it.  Supposedly, according to one of the infamous rumors that continually run rampant in 3d World, this room was used as a hideout during the Morph Wars, which was one of those silly things that some people participated in out and about the town.  It is interesting that the poster on the left shows Flyby as the mayor and not the current Herhoner.  Interesting rumor is that Herhoner tries to change it, and somebody keeps changing it back.  Somewhere there is another picture of Flyby as the mayor, but I ain't saying.  That part remains another secret that probably aint really another secret after all.

The new security chief sponsored a "Ball" for the retirement of the old Security chief.  This was the same person who threatened me with legal action because I posted here what she and the current head of security wrote me .  I obviously would not go to something to honor somebody who I feel violated my constituional rights.  Screw that.  Yeah, I can hold a grudge with the best of them if I have to.

Another club that seems to have a goal of "improving" 3d World" is called CT Solutions.  As with Club Byte this! the people in this club seem to have the best interests of 3d World at heart.  I belong to both just out of curiosity.  If they ask my opinion when I'm around I give it freely as I do here.  they don't have to listen to me anymore than I have to like what they do or have to say.

March 3

I was just thinking of the city council a bit before I reach 10000 homes today.  Interestingly enough I ran across this Founder's guide.  Even more interesting, I think is this part of it:

4) The Mayor and City Council also from time to time shall hold public meetings to brief the citizens on town activities and expansion and to answer questions from the citizens.

Then I ran across this Leader's Code of Ethics page.  A couple of things from here:

5. Be a resourceful person who readily adapts himself to different kinds of work and changed conditions and finds better ways to do things.

7. Associate myself with citizens of all Colonies for the purpose of discussing problems and cooperating in the improvement of Cybertown.

D) City Council Meetings:
1) Council meetings are held the first and third Wednesday of each month at 10:00pm in the Mayor's office. If you are unable to attend, please contact the Mayor and Deputy Mayor to let them know. If you would like someone to attend on your behalf, get prior approval from the Mayor for a non-council member to attend. Only one person (with that approval) may fill in for you. If you feel that for some reason you need more people to attend on your behalf, the Mayor may waive the rule. Proxy members are approved on a one-time basis. A Proxy will need new approval for subsequent meetings. He or she will be allowed to sit in on meetings and to discuss issues but NOT to vote. Voting is to be done by Council members unless directed otherwise by the Mayor and City Council. In cases of a tie, the Mayor has the deciding vote.
2) Confidential matters discussed by or revealed to the Council must remain confidential until such time as confidentiality is lifted. A Council Member may be removed from the Council by majority vote for failure to abide by these Guidelines or by published policies. The offending member will first be warned and if he/she persists in such failure, they may then be removed. If the violation is proven deliberate and/or considered sufficiently severe, the warning step may be waived as these Guidelines will be considered sufficient warning.
E) Terms of Service:
1) Mayor: 2 years (renewable)
2) Deputy Mayor: Appointed by Mayor, approved by Council.

Why are Herhoner and the Council NOT following item 3 under section E?  Where the hell IS the Mayor's Office anyway?  Does the Council meet twice a month?  What are the results of those meetings?  Why aren't the citizens apprised of this?

The council is also supposed to provide links inthe city Hall.  why aren't they doing that?

March 10

If I am anything in my observations, I hope it is above all as honest an observation as I can make.  There may be some that think that I am part of a group of rabble rousers, naysayers, and malcontents.  Let me say here that to that I plead guilty except for the part of being a member of any group.  I hold no job in 3d World, other than being a club owner.  I have no designs on anyone's job.  I have no hidden or open agenda.  What you see with me is what you get.  A plain, simple, and I hope honest man.  I do what I do because I want to.  I say what I say because it is what I think and believe.  Thus, please take this as an honest assessment of a situation in which someone I believe has been unjustly banned.  That person is WEBBUM, a Wizard in 3d World with over 16000 experience points.

This occured on March 9 and March 10 in the late and early hours of the day, in Club BYTE This! WEBBUM has sent me a transcript of the session, to which I was also a witness, since I normally come to places in 2d rather than 3d.  WEBBUM has also given me permission via email to publish the transcript here.  I do so here for your own perusal and so that you, kind readers, can come to your own conclusions.

 The transcript can be found here.  In the session in question, the security person, enters and engages in a whispered conversation with WEBBUM regarding posts made in the city council's message board.  According the security person these posts violate 3d World's Constitution, but does not truly say how they violate it, other than to claim that they are derogatory and harassing.  The security person then issues WEBBUM a warning to stop posting such messages.

The message to which the security person is referring is this:

In no way did WEBBUM call anybody a Communist, but is merely making an analogy that the way the Council is handling dissension among the citizenry is through Orwellian tactics.

To go back to the transcript, which I freely admit may be doctored by anyone so inclined, in no way has WEBBUM insulted or harassed the security person.  Knowing this guy, I would say that the he treated her fairly decently.  It seems clear to me that she came into the room with the intention of figuring out a way to ban WEBBUM.  WEBBUM if anything in this situation is the one being harassed by the security person talking screen shots, and I assume keeping a transcript of everything.

She warned him.  Fine.  He did not post any more to the council board after this warning.  So why was he banned for three days until March 13?  I really don't know, but from the evidence I have, he did nothing to warrant it.

March 16

jdb_educator once again uses a piece of mine to lead into one of his own editorials.  Thanks again, jdb!  I am glad that sometimes I can provide you with some material.  Part of my job, I guess, although I don't really have a "job" in 3d World per se.  jdb's editorial has to do with the recent events in 3d world involving the bannning, positing, club closings, and whatever other squabbles have been going on in 3d World. He makes some good points, and I ain't gonna argue much with what he has to say. Well, okay, maybe a little much.  First, thanks, jdb for believing me to be honest.  I try to call 'em as I see 'em.

In my last journal entry I mentioned the ban of WEBBUM for three days.  Well, no, I discussed it at length.  It was and still is my contention that this 3 day ban was and remains unjustified and certainly give the impression that some people simply were looking for a way to ban him.  Sadly, it is that impression of impropriety that  gives rise to charges of corruption and unfair or inequitable treatment.

Now WEBBUM has been permenently banned ostensibly because he had engaged in activity which according to the Unified Ban Policy automatically moved him through the process to step 6.  I don't what he did other that some rather outspoken posts in both the Politics Feedback board and the City Council message board.  In none of his messages that I read and are still (at least as I write this at 5:00 p.m.my time) up for everyone's viewing did he swear cuss, post porn links or any of those things that a person probably should get banned for in this supposedly family oriented site.  Did he state his opinion?  Yes.  Was he boisterous in his stating of his opinion?  Yes again.  Did he say that some people were flat out wrong or just not telling the truth as he saw it?  Yes a third time.  Did he accuse some people of ulterior motives in tyring to silence loud and opposing viewpoints.  A resounding fourth yes.

My response to some people being upset with what he had to say...SO THE HELL WHAT?

What is so dang wrong with somebody voicing his opinion?  Hell, I do it all the time here.  So what if WEBBUM or anybody else chooses to express his opinion in a different forum?  Please don't give me that claptrap that Hawk owns the site, Hawk can take it down, that people have to be respectful, blah, blah, blah, blah. If you don't want people expressing their opinions, then why the heck have any kind of message board to begin with, particularly ones where people are invited to share more than just mere announcements of how many experience points they have or the latest cyber contest.

Don't get me wrong.  Those announcements are fine and dandy for the people who want to read them and post them.  They have a place in the way some people enjoy themselves in 3d World.  However, when you invite an open forum, which after all chat and message boards are, you have to expect the good, the bad, AND the ugly.

People are going to get into verbal fisticuffs when they butt heads over an issue.  Better that than to come to physical blows.  After a while the people involved in the fisticuffs always come to the realization that they aren't going to convince the other person.  So one of two things happens.  They either follow that old road of agreeing to disagree or one of them decides it's just not worth the damn hassle and ignores the other person.  Unless one of the people is nuts and comes looking halfway across the country to punch the other person's lights out, that is what always happens.  So what is the big deal?

Now it may be that WEBBUM communicated in private with council members and/or security people.  I really don't know.  It may be that he said something in an inbox or email that warranted a ban of lengthier proportions.  I really don't know.  We will never know now, which is sad AND stupid.  If he did something so outrageous that it warranted a ban of any kind, then those banning him should come forward and tell people exactly what it was.  If WEBBUM wants to dispute their account, he may do so.  The silence and seeming demand that the rest of 3d World should just accept blindly the "official version" when there isn't even an official version being offered, just gives rise to more distrust and grumbling.  I say let it all in the open.  Enough with the charges and denials and counter charges and counter denial already.  Let's have the truth out and let the chips fall where they may.

March 18

Much has been running around on the message boards about Blaxxun folding, 3d World charging, etc. etc. blah, blah, blah.

What does it mean to me or you gentle reader?  If you or I depend on 3d World or blaxxun or chat rooms or email or anything else connected to the Internet, then we are indeed in sad shape.  I mean you got family and friends?  You got school, teachers, classmates?  You got a job?  In other words, you have a life out there already and you don't really really need this thing now do you?  You're not isolated in the world.  No man is an island and all that crap.

Sure their 3d stuff is fun, making objects is fun, cahtting with people half way aroudn the globe is fun.  So what?  So are a helluva lot of other things fun.  Talking to your next door neighbor.  Sex with your spouse.  A round of golf. Going to a ball game.  Reading a friggin book for God's sake!  You don't depend on 3d World anymore then it depends on you.

If it happens, it happens.  There's is little if anything that anybody can do about it, now is there.

If they go belly up, you'll find someplace else to go and something else to do there.  If they start charging, you might do the same or you might stay around.  Who knows?  For all the people who are saying they wouldn't stick if it charged, for whatever reason they have, money, age, whatever, there are some who will.  Regardless of what happens, the people supposedly in charge still won't really be in charge.

It does open up some interesting things though.  If they charged money, and someone paid the money say for a year, then that person would have legal recourse to ask for his or her money back, nay to demand it back, if they were kicked out for whatever reason, trumped up or legitimate.  It would also open up a whole can of worms about some people paying more for more priviledges, etc.  Suppose they charge 100 bucks for a year, but if you give a 1000, you get delete tools, a fancier home, more clubs, whatever.  Think they'll kick a large contributor out no matter how obnoxious they become.  If 3d World goes to a pay site, it will always boil down to whoever has the money, only this money will be real not the fake stuff we have now.

March 18

Another darned Unified Ban Policy?  As if the first one wasn't good enough.  Sheesh! It's Orwellian the way the rules have been rewritten to fit the bans that have been issued within the last two weeks.  The Council, the Security team, and even the Founder sure have been busy beavers the last few days.  What they are doing in my estimation is siomply covering their asses.

Consider this part of the section on Clubs:

D.If you wish to discuss things that might be considered offensive or controversial you are advised to lock your club so that only citizens who knowingly wish to participate in such conversations are allowed entry. If your club is not locked, the City Officers will consider it a public chat.

Consider, too, these parts governing message boards:

C.Argue with or harass other users. Private disputes are to be kept private and out of the public areas of Cybertown.
D.Insult or attempt to discredit another Citizen’s reputation.
E.Publish the contents of private e-mails or private conversations (including from inboxes) anywhere in Cybertown.
F.Make false statements or use derogatory innuendo or spread false information, especially in an effort to create turmoil, upset or perturbation.

March 25

Some people believe that everything in 3d world is fine and dandy, that there are no problems.  I don't believe that to be the case.  It's sort like when a coach gets a vote of confidence from the owner.  All that means is that within about a week, the coach will be gone.  I think that is what is happening with 3d World.  The Council says eveyrthing is fine with blaxxun.  hawk says everything is fine with blaxxun.  All they're trying to do is cover their damn asses.  I believe that within a year, 3d World will either be charging money to participate, or folding its tents.  In any event it won't be as it is now.  Herhoner and her minions have posted a message in the messages about a server upgrade that allows them to track the IP addresses of people who post in the message boards.  If the servers are in Germany and Germany is having financial problems, who the hell is actually doign upgrades and why at this stage of the game.  The Hawk posts a letter, supposedly to council, saying that everything is fine in 3d World since the company have problems is blaxxun inGermany not blaxxun inc. in the U.S.  Huh?  Anybody ever doa search for blaxxun inc. int he U.S.?

A lot has been said about the corruption of the supposed leaderhsip of 3d World.  I don't have any first hand knowledge of said corruption.  I have heard stories from one person or another, about how somebody didn't get their title, their job, or whatever the hell it is that they are whining about on that particular day.  Since I don't hold a job in 3d World except for my self appointed rounds to houses, I guess I don't feel the pinch of this supposed corruption.  If somebody want to sent me undoctored logs, real proof, etc., I'll be glad to comment on it here, post it here, and make it part of this soapbox.

This is what I do see as happening tha last couple of weeks, an almost Orwellian approach to any voice of dissent.  Messages have been deleted for no apparent reason other than what was said was deemed to be attacking a person or group in 3d world, namely the council members.  People have been banned, supposedly permenently, or for 8 years, whichever, I suppose, comes first for posting comments which for the life of me I can see anythign wrong with at all.  I mean who really gives a rat's ass if the post is public and is critical of somebody in power.  Gimme a damn break already.  Criticism is just that.  Yeah it may hurt.  So the heck what?  Get over it already.  The problem with the people in supposed power (and I don't thinkthey have any real power to begin with, mind you) is that they are too damn senistive to the least bit of verbiage that says in any way, "Hey, they way you are doing this is just not working, or wrong." Sheesh!

What I find most insulting is the mindless following of the leaders.  Whenever soembody does post something in the least bit critical, a whole slew of bootlickers come out of the wood work to kowtow to the mucky mucks.  It doesn't matter if there is any truth to what is posted at all.  The mindless peons just fall in step.  It's really quite sad.  It's not that some people don't like what is happening in 3d World.  It's not that some people feel that 3d World is changing.  It's that people in 3d World are so willing to let others think for them.

Instead of worryign about what some people are saying about the leaders, maybe security should jsut focu in predators, stalkers, and othe illegal activities that may be goin on in 3d World.  In fact, that is ALL they should be worried about instead of this petty bullshit of deleting messages and banning people for voicing their opinions.

I will speak my mind here.  These people really hate 3d World.  I don't know why.  They won't say.  They don't reveal who they are and hide behind nicknames.  They seem to me to be just as Orwellian in their approach to criticism and Herhoner and the city council in 3d World.  The person running the site, whoever the hell he is, has deleted posts, and edited posts.  If somebody says something against the people running the site, those in charge, that person is ridiculed and belittled.  So I got a question for the people running this place.  How the fuck is that any different from what you are railing against in 3d World.  You think you are raging against the machine?  Bullshit.  You're doing the same damn thing as they are.  Please don't gimme any crap about how you are doing it out in the open and 3d World is doing it behind the scenes.  Bullshit is still bullshit.  It all stinks.  You punks don't take criticism any better that Herhoner, the council, or anybody else in 3d World.  And you are punks.

Making snide comments or accusations about people in 3d World is fine and dandy.  Hell, I do it here, too.  But if I got something to say, I give my proof up front.  If I got a screen shot, I post it.  If I got a log, I post it.  If I think somebody is a fucking idiot, I say and try to prove it.  Well, besides being punks, I think you're fucking idiots.  You want proof?  Hell, I posted the link to your damn site.  That's proof enough.

I've heard tons of rumors about things going on in 3d World, like who's fucking whom over, who's getting fired for no apparent reason, who's getting banned for no apparent reason, blah, blah, blah blah.  You know what, though?  If I had any proof of that, I'd post it here.  I post whatever happens to me here.  They threatened legal action against me, I wrote about it here.  All most of the people who are posting at this trash talking place are disgruntled malcontents who are basing their rumor mongering on nothing more than speculation.  That's all it is until they give some actual proof.

Does that make me love 3d World more?  Support the council, Herhoner, and the nonexistent Hawk more?  No.  I still think they are incompetent do nothings who have no real power and are doing nothing to solve real problems in 3d World.  I also think the idiots running cybertownexploits.cc are assholes.

Okay as near as I can figure out at www.cybertownexploit.cc, braveheart is Mikejaxjag, or whatever the hell h name is.  And either fedup or zeropoint is lazerous, a great creator in 3d world, who recently won more MOE awards, and recently supposedly got banned again after coming back from a 6 months suspension.

These people have a lot of baggage stored up inside them and this is where they let it out in half truths, all truths, innuendoes, rumors, lies, speculations, and a grain of truth.  Beats the hell outta me what their beef is.  Beats the hell outta me why they don't offer any substantive proof of what they claim is going on in 3d World or with any single one of their accusations about individuals in 3d World, even though I have asked directly for the proof in an email to the web master of the place.  Aah, fuck 'em.  If they don't want to play there's nothing I can do to them or for them.  Shit I don't have any power in 3d world anyway.  I will go back to the place only if it's because I think it's a hoot.

On to other matters, today in the city council board, somebody posted this message:

Okay, so now I know I've pissed everybody off.

Okay time for some truth here as I see it, and frankly, I really don't care how others see it, least of all the supposed power borkers in 3d World or the power borkers, and yes, I know the word "brokers" is misspelled there.

Here I am beowulf42.  In 3d world, I like most other people have a number of nicknames.  Among those I use there are grendelsmom, billyshakes, willshakespeare, rodserling, chrismarlowe, bobbystevenson, and a bunch of others I can't remember here but related in some way to literature.  So sue me.  And sue everybody else who does it.

On the trashtalking site I am grendelslayer.

Enough of that bullshit.  The name is Tim Mocarski.  From this page you can link to a whole bunch of other information about the real me.  I got nothing to hide.

Evidently some people do.  In 3dworld, few people give their real names.   On the trashtalking site, nobody goes by their real name, even when you ask them for it.  Somebody emailed me about the site, saying I might be interested in it.  Of course they didn't leave their name, even when I emailed back and asked them for it.

I give credit to Fedup, or Lazerous, or whoever the hell he/she is, for sending me a file that he claims shows a discussion of corruption on a former security site or something.  If you want the file too, I will send it to you as well.  Just email me.  Frankly, I don't see what it proves, and I am waiting for an email response asking just that.

So how did I piss people of at this other site?  Well, I spoke my mind, what I think, my opinion.  Sheesh! Ain't that what they're railing about half the time, about people getting banned for speaking their mind in 3d World?  Just goes to show that people like what you say as long as you agree with them.  Well, I agree with myself.  The rest doesn't matter.

But to respond, first Mud, you're right.  I don't know you, but you evidently knew me well enough to send me an email telling
me about ctexploits, yet you didn't respond to my reply asking you who you were.  Why not?  Unless hacker and Fedup are
one and the same person, neither has he responded to a simple request for information.  You asked that I not lump everybody
together as assholes.  Okay, I won't, and I didn't.  I said the people running the place are.  I'm consistent if nothing else, cuz I
think the people running 3d world are assholes, too.  You asked in some way to be given a level playing field.  Go right ahead.
But my page is my place to write, not yours.  For all the high and mighty talk about freedom of speech that thrown around so loosely, it is something that I take very seriously, and which, frankly, I feel very few do.  Brave men and women have fought and died for that very freedom which I enjoy here.  Some of them were friends, some were relatives.  Reread the quote I give on my opening page  and on the journal index.  Oliver Wendell Holmes was absolutely right.  That is what I believe and sincerely
try to live.  I will always try to afford people that right, and expect them to afford me the same courtesy to think for myself.  That said, am I gonna give you the opportunity to respond?  Hey, hon, you got your forum where you are.  My page is my house.  These are my rules.  You can not like them all you want, but that doesn't mean I have to change them.  Amd I trying to change 3d World?  That's a laff.  I know it's fucked up, probably won't last much longer, and who there would listen to little old me in the first place?  You think I am trying to effect some change there?  Hardly.  I just write what I see there.  I do the same here.

Overall, I really have some serious questions?  You can post all you want here, making all the charges, claims, whatever that you want to.  I really don't care.  You all, however, obviously do.  Now, if even 1 tenth of what you all say is true, why do you still care?  What is it you want from 3d world?  Do you want to get back in there if you're banned?  Do you want to have some position of power?  In other words, what would satisfy you enough?  the closure of 3d world? the firing of some people fromt heir positions in 3d world?  dumping hawk?  I being serious here.  What is it that you want?
