We all grew up with Richard J. Daley, the Boss of Chicago. By
the time we started moving away from Cragin and indeed the city, Chicago
had seen the likes of Jane Byrne, Fast Eddie Vrdoliak and Harold Washington.
Eventually, Chicagoans reelected a Daley as their mayor. Regardless
of our politics, it was nice of him to write us a letter of congralutalions.
