When Jack Nicklaus tees off, invariably someone in the
gallery says rather loudly, "You the Man, Jack!" There's probably a very
good reason for that. That's because he is. Any guy who takes the time
to sign 25 photographs for a bunch of Polacks from Chicago, well, that
just about says it all. Because they played together as a foursome in their
youth, Moe requested that Jack personalize separate photos for Gregg Rossi,
Dennis Zielinski, and Bob Ziaja. As if that wasn't enough already, Jack
signed more than twenty other photos for us. Two, shown below left, offer
words of congratulations on our 25th Cragin. The winners of the Low Gross
and Low Net trophies that year received these. The remaining photos, twenty
in total, pictured below right, were presented to each participant in 1998
when we celebrated our 25 anniversary. Tiger Woods notwithstanding,
Jack will always be the number one golfer in our hearts.
